小林昌彦氏がYFMのパーソナリティに

小林昌彦様(1962-1963, UIUC大学院・ジャーナリズム専攻)が，2021年8月から毎週火曜日05:15-05:45にFMヨコハマ(84.7)の番組「グランドシニアサロン」でパーソナリティを務めます．超高齢者へのインタビューを中心とした番組です，

小林様は現在87歳，ご本人曰く，このような高齢者がパーソナリティを務めるのは民放始まって以来ではないか，とのこと．首都圏の方はぜひともご視聴ください．

JICの活動内容
イリノイ大学日本同窓会では次の活動を行っています
リユニオンパーティ
毎年6月あるいは7月に実施するレリユニオンパーティをはじめ，ご家族や友人の皆様と一緒に参加できるイベントを開催します

小山八郎記念奨学制度
日本の大学に在籍する日本人の学生を，毎年４名選考し，イリノイ大学に授業料無料で送る制度です．国内の各大学でイリノイ大学との交換留学制度が充実してきたのにともない，42年目の2017年を最後に本制度は終了しました
Koyama Hachiro Memorial Scholarship Program
This program selects four Japanese students enrolled in Japanese universities each year and sends them to the University of Illinois free of tuition. As exchange programs with the University of Illinois have become more established at universities throughout Japan, this program came to an end in 2017, its 42nd year.
